I'm looking for a song (in the video auto convertible)

I'm looking for a song where in the video the band with the singer is in a big american car, it's a convertible, they are driving on a road through the desert, the car is red I think. At one point you can also see that the car is being pulled by another car and the people in the red car are not really driving the car, I think they are also swapping places.... this is a song already old (maybe it was made around 2000), from the rock/pop genre (something like The Cranberries)
does it tell you something? :)
