Looking for a song

Hi, I've been looking for a song for a while, but I totally don't remember what it was about. I'm sure it will be some kind of scary song. So say around 2005? I only know what the music video was about.
So yes I associate that there was a (probably black) man and a woman. And the woman I think was shot (?). In any case, she started to die. And the man somehow switched places with her, as it were, and he was the one who died after all?
I know it's not much, but that's all I remember, and it doesn't give me a break. Thanks in advance for any suggestions :)
