I'm looking for a song from the early 80's. All I remember is that the late artists are mentioned in the song. Jonis Joplin, Jimmi Hendrix and others.

How about Budka Suflera's "Lead Time"?
It is about foreign
Welcome to Muzolandia!
I have a few suggestions, you may be referring to a song by the band The Righteous Brothers "Rock And Roll Heaven" from the 1970s. Also blues track John Lee Hooker's "Kick Hit 4 Hit Kix U (Blues for Jimi and Janis)," but again these are from the 1970s, not the 1980s. Of the newer tracks, Jann Arden's song "Into The Sun" also fits the description, but that was probably 2000.
Greetings,
Michael
.Unfortunately none of these but thank you for your interest and response. I am looking further.
Mentioned are probably still the late John Lennon, Elvis Presley so the song must have been written in the early 1980s
Then maybe it will be Mungo Jerry's "Rock 'n' Roll, Rock 'n' Roll"?
Unfortunately not this one, but thanks for your interest
Something else that dawns on me is that in the chorus they sing "ku, ku, ku crazy"
Hello.
It's been a month of searching. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find the song. Thank you to everyone who helped in the search.
I don't give up in my search :) I hope you'll take a look from time to time or maybe there is a new answer :)
And in the meantime I have another shot of Detention - Dead Rock N Rollers :)
I look here almost every day. Thanks for another song. However, it is not this one but hope is all the time.
Still such a small hint. The deceased artists mentioned are in the verbal insert, not sung.
Billy Joel mentions quite a few names in the song "We Didn't Start The Fire" ;-) ... Maybe you can find your solace there? ;-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFTLKWw542g
Unfortunately not this song but thanks for your interest.
I'm searching all the time assiduously.
Yo! :-) To me, the only song associated with this description is Ice MC - Cinema. The problem is that the two dead are not mentioned in it, ba! they are mentioned in it still alive (I think...)!
Yo! :-) It's me again, your post doesn't give me a break. Maybe it's Chilly Group - We're The Popkings In Town from 1980?
Chilly Group - We're The Popkings In Town - this is it. Thank you all for your commitment and help. However, patience pays off. It took a while but there is success.
I'm glad to have helped. :-) In this case, the topic can be closed now. Greetings!
Thanks again
Great news! :) Thank you @DeeDee for your help and topic is closed :)
