Music video description
To all lovers of Polish music, I do not have to introduce Mr. Andrzej Zaucha. For those who are just getting acquainted with the good old Polish hits, I'll introduce his silhouette a bit. Mr. Andrzej Zaucha was born in 1949 in Cracow, Poland, by education he was a couturier, a now-forgotten profession which I described in more detail in the entry dedicated to the song C'est La Vie - Paryż z pocztówki. He was an extremely versatile and talented artist, not only a vocalist, but also a drummer, saxophonist, actor or cabaret artist. He worked very closely with jazz and rock bands and musicians. Few people know that in his youth he was an athlete who won gold and bronze medals in canoeing. Unfortunately, his great career was cut short by a murder committed by the jealous ex-husband of Mr. Andrzej's friend the actress Susanna Lesniak. In today's post I introduce you to Mr. Andrzeja Zauchy 's performance at the XXIV National Festival of Polish Song Opole in 1987. At which he sang a very popular hit song written by Boguslaw Klimczuk and Tadeusz Urgacz titled Black Alibaba.
