"If I Were A Boy" is a song by RnB singer Beyonce Knowles, taken from her third solo album, "I Am... Sasha Fierce" from 2008. The single was a major commercial success, and became Knowles' most popular song in the UK, where it sold more than 588,000 copies. The music video for "If I Were A Boy," which was directed by Jake Nava, was shot in monochrome and shows the couple's ordinary day, in which they switch roles, which is only explained at the end of the video.
