"Slave To Love" is the first single released by Roxy Music label singer Bryan Ferry. The song comes from the album "Boys and Girls," released in 1985. It became one of the artist's biggest solo hits. It topped the UK charts for nine weeks, and just two months after the song's release, Bryan Ferry performed at Wembley Stadium during the Live Aid concert. The song features Neil Hubbard on guitar and Keith Scott, who is known for his rather long collaboration with Bryanem Adamsem. The keyboards are played by Guy Fletcher of zespołu Dire Starits and the drums are played by Omar Hakim, who has worked with such stars as David Bowie, String and Mariah Carey. On bass guitar we can hear Tony Levin also known for his collaboration with, for example, Petere, Gabrielem.
The video for Slave to Love was directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, also responsible for such videos as Don Henley - The Boys Of Summer or his frequent collaboration with Madonną. The main roles in the video are played by Swedish model Christine Bergstrom, French model Laurence Treil and Dutch model Marpessy Hennink. Pascal Lebegue is responsible for the cinematography.
