Music video description
Cappella is an Italian music group founded in 1987 by music producer Gianfranco Bortolotti. The lineup of this group changed quite often and the most successful years were 1993 and 1994 when the group included UK performers Kelly Overett and Rodney Bishop. The first years of their activity were mainly a few hit songs, which were not very successful outside the British market. As already mentioned, the band's career Cappella gained considerable momentum in 1993 with the release of the hit song Cappella - U Got 2 Let The Music. It was quite a big hit in the European music market. Another big success and hit was the song Move on Baby, and it is this hit that I would like to remind you of in today's update. It is worth mentioning here in passing that in the years of their greatest glory the group caused two musical scandals, one of which ended in their loss in court. It was about the song U Got 2 Know in which they used riffs from the song "Happy House" by Siouxsie and the Banshees, which, as it later turned out, they did not pay for. The second scandal was caused by the fact that Kelly Overett was fired from the band and the admission that she didn't actually sing a single song on the album and all live performances were from a playback. However, this does not change the fact that these songs caught the ear of a great many people and still evoke sentiment among fans of Eurodance music from the 1990s. Therefore, I invite you to see the video Cappella - Move on Baby. Let's also remember that there have been many such examples, where someone else sings and someone else is the face of the band, in the history of music. It is worth mentioning here, for example, such a legend as zespół Milli Vanilli.
