Music video description
Nicholas Bracegirdle is a musician, artist, composer and music producer known under the pseudonym Chicane. His greatest musical successes came in the early 2000s when his excellent album "Behind the Sun" was released. It is from this album that such hits as Saltwater and Offshore come from. The second single promoting this album was a song recorded with Canadian singer Bryanem Adamsem. The song was a huge success in both Europe and the United States. The collaboration between the two artists began in 1999 when Bryan Adams contacted Nicholas to prepare one of the remixes of the song "Cloud Number 9," which came from the album "On a Day Like Today" released a year earlier. And it was the version prepared by Chicane that was chosen by Adams as the so-called "radio edit," i.e. a version of the song adapted for playing on the radio. However, this was not the end of the collaboration between the two artists, a few months later it was Chicane who invited Bryan Adams to work with him, and this is how the hit "Don't Give Up" was created, which I present to you in this post. It is interesting to note that the voice of this famous singer has been heavily modified to suit electronic music, since the original voice is too rocky for this type of music. Not everyone liked such interference with the singer's voice, especially many of his fans. What do you guys think about it?
