Chris Norman' s hit song Some Hearts Are Diamonds is the first song on Chris Norman's album of the same name. This is the artist's first solo album from 1986, released after the artist left the band Smokie, in which he was a vocalist for many years. The music and lyrics for this atmospheric ballad were written by Dieter Bohlen, a German musician and composer, best known as a member of the Modern Talking duo. Chris Norman's first solo album was quite popular in Europe.
