Music video description

In today's post I would like to remind you of a song written by Chuck Berry. It is one of the most important songs by this artist. A real firecracker and an unforgettable rock 'n roll hit. The piece was written in 1955, but was not officially released until three years later. It ended up on the "Voyager Golden Record" disc. It is worth noting that the number uses samples of "Ain't That Just Like a Woman" performed by Louis Jordan. The lyrics of the song can be said to be "the fulfillment of the American Dream." A young poor boy from the street - with no prospects for life suddenly stands out with extraordinary talent. This results in the blossoming of a great career. Is it an autobiographical song? To some extent, it certainly is.

The song is still appreciated in the music world despite the years. In 2004, it was ranked No. 7 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of 500 songs of all time. A year later, Q magazine placed the hit song "Johnny B. Goode" at number 42 on the list of the 100 best guitar songs. Four years later, it had already achieved the first place in this listing. Let's have a listen!
