The song "Days Of Pearly Spencer" is a song written and originally performed by David McWilliams in 1967 in Northern Ireland. The song was included on the artist's second album titled "Davis McWilliams." In its original and original version, the song was not commercially successful in either Europe or the United States. However, the artist decided to record it again, with a new arrangement. The revamped version of the song "Days Of Pearly Spencer" was included on the 1987 album Working for the Government. However, it was made popular by another performance, namely a cover of pop English singer Marc Almond.
Music critic Richie Unterberg described the song as the best of McWilliams' career. The critics' reviews were mostly very favorable, which unfortunately did not translate into the song's popularity. The BBC station did not want to play it. The only glimmer of popularity the song recorded in France, where it reached the top of the charts. Currently, the situation has changed a bit and the song "Days of Pearly Spencer" is appearing on the world's radio stations more often.
