"Layla" is a single by blues-rock band Derek and the Dominos, and the thirteenth track on the album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs" released in late 1970 and early 1971. The song is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful love ballads of all time. The song is dedicated to Pattie Boyd, George Harrison's wife at the time and Clapton's secret love.
