Disturbed is an American heavy metal band formed in 1994 in Chicago. To date, the band has released 7 studio albums and 22 singles. One of these singles is a cover of a beautiful song from 1965, a song that, in the tragic circumstances of the death of the President of Gdansk, Pawel Adamowicz, gained great popularity in our country Simon & Garfunkel - Sound Of Silence. The cover of this song proved so popular that it became the most famous song by this band, which was quite successful in the charts. In addition to the aforementioned band Disturbed, the song The Sound of Silence has been sung by such performers as Gregorian in 1999, Bananarama in 2009 and the Polish singer Ania Dąbrowska in 2010. However, to this day the two most popular versions of this song are undoubtedly the original performed by the American duo Simon & Garfunkel and the Disturbed version presented in this post - The Sound of Silence.
