Let's move back to 1979 when Donna Summer's single Bad Girls was released. This is one of the singer's biggest hits and comes from the album of the same name. The song had been written a few years earlier and the publisher wanted this song to be performed by Cher, but Donna Summer did not agree and eventually put the song on the sidelines for a few years. The inspiration for the recording of this hit was an unpleasant situation that happened to one of Donna's assistants, who was accused of prostitution by a policeman.
