Born in 1947, Giampiero Anelli is an Italian musician known to all as Drupi. He began his musical career in the band "Le Calamite," but was quickly noticed by songwriters Luigi Albertelli and Enrico Riccardi. In 1973, he performed at the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Vado via," but came in last place at the festival at the time, but his international career then gained rapid momentum and just a year later with the song Piccola E Fragile Drupi gained international popularity.
