Music video description
"Bailamos" is a song from Enrique Iglesias ' repertoire sung in the original Spanish language. The song was released in 1999 as part of the soundtrack to the film "Wild Wild West," and later as a single by the artist from his fourth studio album and first English-language album, "Enrique." In the English version, the song's title was "We Dance" and it became hugely popular. In Spain, it reached No. 1 on the singles chart and No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
The song "Bailamos" was written by Paul Barry and Mark Tatlor, while Barry and Brian Rawlings, who previously created the great przebój Cher "Believe," were responsible for the production. The song has lived to see as many as three different music videos. The first was shot in Miami, another was directed by Nigel Dick and is inspired by the film "Wild Wild West," while Paul Hunter is responsible for the third. This clip is devoid of a plot as such, depicting the artist as a bartender who observes the salsa dancers, and in subsequent shots interacts with the main dancer and leaves the club in her company.
