"Sex Appeal" is a song performed by Eugeniusz Bodo in the 1937 film "The Floor Above." Bodo's nationality was Swiss, his father was engineer Teodor Junod and his mother was Polish Jadwiga Anna Dorota Dylewska. He was regarded as a witty, gallant and seductive person, which brought him many female admirers. His career ended tragically, while applying for a visa to the US, when he revealed his citizenship, he was arrested by the NKVD. He was also not eligible for amnesty, as he was not Polish.
