"Love Is A Stranger" is the fifth single by British duo Eurythmics, released in 1982. The song was initially unsuccessful, only its second release made it popular and it reached number 6 on the UK charts ( the first time it was number 54 ). It was once again released on a single in 1991, was a song promoting the duo's compilation "Greatest Hits." A controversial music video was made for the song, in which Annie Lennox appears once as a woman once as a man ( her other two videos Sweet Dreams and Who's That Girl are in a similar convention).
