Flash and the Pan was an Australian new wave group formed in the 1970s by Henry Venda and George Young - former members of the band The Easybeats. Flash & The Pan - Midnightman comes from their fourth album Early Morning Wake Up Call, which the performers self-released in 1984 and is the sixth track on the album. The band went unrecognized until the release of the single "Waiting For A Train," although their debut album initially generated interest.
