Music video description
Glenn Lewis Frey is an American singer and songwriter born in 1948 in Detroit. In today's post, I'd like to introduce you to the song The Heat Is On, which this artist sang and recorded for the 1984 cult hit movie, at least for some people, The Beverly Hills Cop. The song itself was co-written by Harold Faltermeyer and Keith Forsey and the aforementioned Frey recorded and performed it. The vocal part was recorded on one day, while the guitar part and some other vocals were caught up on the second day. For two days of work, the singer netted $15,000. Both the song and the video turned out to be hits, so it probably wasn't his only earnings from the song. But coming back to the artist himself and his musical career, some of you probably associate him with the American band Eagles. This is a fairly well-known musical group that recorded its biggest hits in the 1970s. Among these hits you will find such hits as Hotel California, Take It Easy or One of These Nights. And now I'd like to invite you to the music video Glenn Frey - The Heat Is On.
