Music video description
Irena Jarocka is a very well-known figure in the Polish music scene. She was born in August 1945 in Srebrna Góra, from where her parents moved to Gdansk two years later. After graduating from high school, Ms. Irena began her studies at the State Higher School of Music in Gdansk, majoring in music education. After graduating from this course, she still went to the Biology Department of the Teacher Training College also in Gdansk. However, she did not become a teacher, but began to perform amateurishly as a singer, and in 1965 made her debut at the "Rudy Kot" restaurant in Gdansk, which was very famous at the time. In the same year she appeared at the Opole music festival for the first time. Throughout her musical career she worked with such bands as Czerwone Gitary, Budka Suflera and Polanie. In today's post I would like to remind you of Ms. Irena's song from 1976, I invite you to watch the music video Irena Jarocka - Kawiarenki Odpływają.
