The Kuss-Walzer or "Kiss Waltz," Op. 400 is a waltz Johann Strauss II composed in 1881. This waltz was dedicated to his second wife, Angelika Dittrich. This waltz includes excerpts from the operetta Der lustige Krieg (The Merry War). This waltz is very touching, and its distinctive feature, and one that sets it apart from the composer's other works, is its very often unaccompanied main theme.
