Music video description
"Parostatek" (steamboat ) is a song recorded in 1976 by Polish singer Krzysztof Krawczyk. In addition to Krawczyk, the author of the music is Jerzy Milian, and the somewhat perverse words came from the pen of Tadeusz Drozda back in 1970. The song was originally written for the Elita cabaret, in which Drozda performed. It had a slightly different melody, stylized as ragtime, which was arranged by Janusz Bartosik, an activist with the Polish Jazz Association.
When Krzysztof Krawczyk left the band Trubadurzy, he began building his solo career. In 1976 he began to perform the featured song "Parostatek" with great success, the lyrics of which were very much to his liking, as they alluded to the cabaret jam that had accompanied him in his earlier years of music-making. Interestingly, his version of the song "Parostatek" was also recorded by Danuta Rinn.
