Another big hit for Metallica, and another song with a really deep message. Lasting more than 6 minutes, the 1991 song "The Unforgiven" tells the story of life's burnout - a young man shows up on earth and is immediately put down by people trying to teach him how to live. In the lyrics you can find the experiences of the band's singer, who had a difficult childhood (his father left the family, his mother died of cancer).
