Michael Gordon Oldfield (Mike Oldfield) is a British progressive musician and multi-instrumentalist who made a name for himself with his solo instrumental albums, performed using the method of track catching. Born on May 15, 1953, he has two siblings, sister Sally Oldfeld, who is also a multi-instrumentalist, and brother Terri Oldfield, a composer. The video I want to present to you was shot for a song written by Mike, Mike Oldfield - To France, released as a single in 1984. The song is sung by Maggie Reilly and comes from the album "Discovery." The tracks on the B-side are instrumental miniatures. They have not been released on any other album to date.
