Music video description
"Jeremy" is Pearl Jam's third single to promote their 1992 debut album "Ten." The album sold more than 500,000 copies, achieving gold album status. The song Jeremy was inspired by an event in January 1991, when Richardson teenager Jeremy Wade Delle shot himself in the head in front of his class after being severely reprimanded by a teacher for being late. The music video that was made for the song was frequently aired on MTV, and at the 1993 MTV Video Music Awards it won awards in as many as four categories. Invited to Pearl Jam - Jeremy.
