Music video description
"Nie Płacz Ewka" is the ninth single by Perfect, coming from the 1981 album Perfect. The author of the lyrics is Bogdan Olewicz, while Zbigniew Holdys is responsible for the composition. Grzegorz Markowski is responsible for the vocal part. The song reached number 3 on the Third Program's Hit List in 1992. It would seem that the lyrics of the song are about saying goodbye to two people in love. The woman is leaving, perhaps even forever, and the man is trying to console himself. However, this is an illusory impression, as the content of this song speaks of something much more serious, even existential-philosophical. One can hear in it the inspiration of the so-called "Children of Flowers" and the band The Doors. Olewicz expresses his distaste for the demise of a certain ideology, which was important to him and made him find some deeper meaning in life. On the other hand - the eponymous Ewka really existed, and the author of the text was fascinated by the way she thought and expressed herself.
