Music video description
Ray Charles - Mess Around is a song and one of the first big hits by legendary musician Ray Charles. Its author is Atlantic Records co-founder Ahmet Ertegun. In creating the lyrics, he used excerpts from the blues anthem, "Pinetop's Boogie Woogie." The song became a hit when it was released as a single in 1953. Nevertheless, it wasn't until the release of the single "I Got a Woman" that Ray achieved real success. The song was used in the movie Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, as well as in the film Ray, about the musician's life
