Music video description

"Let's Drink for the Bugs" is a song from the repertoire of Ryszard Rynkowski, released in 1989. The music was written by Ryszard Rynkowski, while the lyrics were written by Jacek Cygan. The song was created shortly after the singer's turbulent breakup with zespołem Vox. At the time, the artist decided to try his hand at building a solo career, while leaving himself free to return to his primary profession, that of accompanist-co-recordist. Rynkowski performed with the song "Let's Drink to the Bugs" at the Opole Festival in 1989 and won first prize there.

The song's lyrics may seem rather difficult to understand. In it, Rynkowski is said to be dissecting a previous stage of his life. However, Jacek Cygan, the lyricist, said in an interview that he knows little about the singer's reasons for parting ways with the Vox band, so this is not true. Some also see it as a commentary on the situation in Poland at the time, just after the first elections. However, this information has never been confirmed.
