"Soak Up the Sun" is a single recorded in March 2002 by American singer Sheryl Crow to promote her album "C'mon C'mon." The song debuted at number 11 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart and sold more than 500,000 copies by the end of 2005. In Europe, it reached number 16 on the UK singles chart, and number 15 in Australia and Switzerland. The song was also the second most played in Canada in 2002.

The music video for the song was part of a promotional deal with the "American Express" television format. Its director is Wayne Isham. The singer looks quite provocative in the clip. In this way she wanted to prove that even women over 40 can still be sexy, seductive and appealing.
