Starslash or actually Roelofs Ramon (Charly Lownoise) & Frank Fritze (Franky Tunes)are a pair of DJs (Romon Roelofs is Dutch and Frank Fritze is German). They created the "hands-up" trance genre. They started in 2001 with an aisle version of Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo's 1994 happy hardcore "Wanderfull Day's." After many released singles and albums, the guys took a break in 2004. In 2007 Starsplash returned with a new version of their earlier song "Cold As Ice." The song Starsplash - Free (2001) is very similar to the 1996 track "My Little Fantasy" performed by 4 Tune Fairytales, they differ in lyrics but the melodies are very similar.
