Sting - Russians

"Russians" is a song by Sting, from his debut album "The Dream of the Blue Turtles," released in 1985. The song was also released as a single. In it, Sting warns of the consequences of the Cold War, ("there's no such thing as winning a war / It's a lie we no longer believe"). That's why he hopes that "the Russians also love their children," because he sees this as the only thing that will save the world from another holocaust and nuclear weapons.
