Music video description
"Gomenasai" is the third (after All About Us and Friend or Foe) single by Russian duo t.A.T.u. to promote their album Dangerous and Moving. It was released in most European countries in May 2006. The title was a (misspelled) reference to the Japanese language, in which the word means "sorry." Some believe that the song was aimed at the band's Japanese fans, whom the singers are apologizing to for canceling a visit to their country. Two music videos were made for the song, one in an animated version (in the style of Japanese anime) and a feature version. In the anime version we see Yulia Volkova, who sets out to free her friend from prison, in which she is hindered by robots. Eventually she achieves her goal. The actual video for the song was recorded in mid-March at the Los Angeles Botanical Garden. Televisions began broadcasting the video in the second half of April 2006. The main musical theme from the song t.A.T.u. - Gomenasai was used in a song by the group Flipsyde titled Happy Birthday.
