The hit "You" is a song from the repertoire of Dutch band The Sharp, which was released in 1991 as the debut single from the group's studio album titled "Under the Water-Line." The song became a hit in many countries, and was particularly popular in France, Norway and Sweden, where it reached number one on the charts there. The lyrics to the hit song "You" were written by Ton Groen, while Niels Hermes was responsible for the composition.
Many music critics praised the song "You" for its beautiful melodic consistency, which was complemented by the strong voice of vocalist Marcel Kapteijn.
