Music video description
"The Last Time" is a track from the repertoire of The Ander Oldham Orchetsta, which was a musical project founded by Ander Loog Oldman, manager and music producer of the group The Rolling Stones. Contrary to appearances, there was no real orchestra as such, it was formed in time for recordings made by the artist from a number of session musicians, including members of The Rolling Stones.
"The Last Time" was included on the album The Rolling Stones Songbook. It was an orchestral version of the song of the same name from the repertoire of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. This version sparked the threat of litigation over licensing. In the end, all the rights to the composition belong to ABKCO Records, and the copyright to the song belongs to Jagger and Richards.
The main theme of this song will be very familiar to you through the band The Verve and their big 1997 hit "Bitter Sweet Symphony".
