Music video description
The Cardigans is a Swedish music band, which in 1992 and which has had several unforgettable hits. Today I would like to introduce you to one of them, the song My Favourite Game. The music video for this song stirred up quite a bit of controversy due to the fact that it depicted rather reckless driving and was quite violent in the original. As a result of this controversy, there were eventually several versions of the music video, censored to varying degrees. The most restrictive turned out to be the MTV station in the UK, the least comments on the music video had the owners of MTV in the United States where you could see the video even in the original. The music video itself was shot over three days in the Mojave Desert in California. Singer Nina Persson recalled that the temperature there reached as high as 43 degrees in the shade and that several times she needed an oxygen bottle because, as she recalled, "it was hot enough for the Swede to fall." The single itself was one of the band's biggest hits The Cardigans, great for the car. Feel free to check out the music video of The Cardigans - My Favourite Game.
