Music video description
The Chemical Brothers is a British music duo creating electronic music and, more specifically, the so-called big beat, trip hop and house music. In the early 1990s, together with bands such as The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim and The Crystal Method, they were pioneers in creating, popularizing big beat music in the so-called pop culture world. The band was formed in 1989, but it was in the late 1990s that they conquered the market with their great hits. I would like to present to you one of these hits in this post. Let's go back to 1999 when The Chemical Brothers' now cult hit Hey Boy Hey Girl was released. This song comes from their third album entitled "Surrender". On the occasion of this hit, it is worth mentioning that the famous "" sung in the song comes from the hip-hop song "Rock Master Scott & the Dynamic Three - The Roof Is on Fire" from 1984. The music video for the song, quite bold and groundbreaking for the time, also attracted attention in those years. At the very end of the video, however, you can see the duo that made up the Chemical Brothers band getting out of a cab, after which the main character of this clip gets into it.
