Music video description
Buddy Holly is an American rock & roll composer and singer who was a model for Jimiego Hendrixa among others . He was musically active for only 18 months, but that was enough for his artistic output to fill several albums. He was a member of the band The Crickets, which is the author, among others, of such hits as That'll Be The Day, which I would like to introduce to you in this post. The song was written by Buddy Holly and Jerry Allison. The genesis of the song was the movie starring John Wayne, "The Searchers Was Playing," which Holly, Allison and Sonny Curtis went to see in June 1956. It was inspired by the words of a life-weary Wayne, just titled "That'll Be The Day." I invite you to watch The Crickets' music video - That'll Be The Day.
