"Don't You Want Me" is a single by English group The Human League, released from their third album "Dare" on November 27, 1981. It is the band's biggest commercial success to date. In 1981, Virgin's record label realized that a promotional video for the song was an important marketing tool. The first video was deemed too "cheap" and the label recommended shooting a new clip. The video was shot in Slough in November 1981 with members of the band. The video was released in December 1981.Like the song, the video became a cult recording in the music field, and it made a significant contribution to the commercial success of the song and the band.
