Music video description
Another hit today that I would like to remind you of is the 1977 song "Let's All Chant." It was written by Michael Zager and Alvin Fields and recorded by the Michael Zager Band. The story of this song is very interesting, little was missed and it would not have been written at all. Well, a certain Jerry Love came to Zager with an idea for a song. Well, Love, while frequently visiting New York clubs, noticed that a lot of club-goers sang and intoned shouts in the style of "Ooh-ah, Ooh-ah" during various songs. So he concluded that this was a great theme for a song that was sure to be a hit. At first Michael Zager did not share his opinion at all and thought it was very silly and was even embarrassed and embarrassed by such a proposal, saying, "You've got to be kidding me! After all, this is pathetic!". Fortunately for us, the author persevered and nevertheless agreed to write a song using "Ooh-ah, Ooh-ah" and called the final piece Let's All Chant. However, to make sure he didn't feel so completely embarrassed by the song, he added sections from himself in the song using some classical music, which we can hear halfway through the song. As they recorded the song he said to Love that he would "kill him if this song doesn't become a hit." However, it didn't take long for the hit song to become a real hit on radio stations playing disco music and on the dance floors of New York clubs. The song also quickly gained great popularity also in Europe, eventually passing to the classics of disco music. It also lived to see many remixes and alterations, and was often used in television commercials. I invite you to watch the music video Michael Zager Band - Let's All Chant.
