"Every Breath You Take" is a 1983 song by The Police, which was included on the album Synchronicity. It was written by Sting and Andy Summers. The song was accompanied by a music video directed by the duo Godley & Creme, which was praised for its unique black-and-white cinematography. Both MTV (1999) and VH1 (2002) named it one of the best music videos ever, placing it 16th and 33rd, respectively, in their TOP 100 lites.
