In the 1970s and 1980s, many musical trends emerged. One of them was the newly formed faction of New romantic pop music. One of the numerous bands of this kind was undoubtedly the duo The Twins. This Berlin-based group was formed in 1980 by Ronn Schreinzer. The two men who made up the band had also tried their hand at other bands in the past, but neither of them had much success. The first single recorded by the band hit the Berlin discotheques after only a few months, where it became a real hit that everyone knew. The career grew with almost every track recorded. After just a few months, tracks such as "Not The Loving King" and "Ballet Dancer" could be heard on the charts all over Europe. One of the more dedicated countries to the band was undoubtedly Italy, where the band's songs topped the charts for a long period of time. In 1984 the band also visited Poland, where they met fans at the Sopot festival. A huge hit for that band was also the song The Twins - Time Will Tell, which also reigned for a long period of time on both the discotheques and the charts.
