"Kalimba De Luna" is a single released in 1984 by Italian musician and drummer Tony Esposito featuring singer Gianluigi Di Franco. The song came from the album "II grande esploratore" and debuted at number 14 on the Italian charts. It was also popular in Switzerland, where it ranked #6.
Antonio Tony Esposito is an Italian singer, musician, songwriter and percussionist who gained popularity in Europe just with the song "Kalimba De Luna." The song was very quickly incorporated into the repertoire of the German group Boney M and was released on the band's album "The Thousand Lightyears." Reggie Tsiboe was responsible for the vocal layer, and producer Frank Tarian and session singers Amy and Elaine Goff could be heard in the choruses.
