Music video description
U2 's music video and single, One, comes from an album titled "Achtung Baby," released in 1991. The band was inspired to write this song by a guitar riff from another U2 song "Ultraviolet (Light My Way)." According to a poll conducted by Sony, "One" is at No. 5 among all-time hits. In April 2006, a new version of the song was recorded by Mary J. Blige (guesting with U2 singer Bono). The song is also the anthem of Amnesty International.
