Music video description
The fourth studio album by the group Womack & Womack featured the song Teardrops. It is credited to Cecil and Linda Womack, who, along with Chris Blackwell, were also producers of the song. The song was the band's lead single and was released in 1988. Its ratings on the international charts were excellent, and the song's popularity is very well illustrated by the multitude of covers it has received. Sam Elton John in 1993, in a duet with KG Land, recorded his version of this hit for John Duets' album. British group Lovestation, German pop band No Angels, Australian singer Kate Alexa, meanwhile, released covers of the song in the form of singles in 2007-2008. Later, Joss Stone and the band The xx also took it for their own.
The video for the song Teardrops shows the band members singing parts of the song in a recording studio.
