In recent days, very sad news circulated the media, Krzysztof Krawczyk has died. A legend of Polish pop music, singer gifted with a wonderful baritone voice, composer and guitarist, a great artist. He died on April 5 at the age of 74.
In 1963, together with Marian Lichtman, Slawomir Kowalewski and Jerzy Krzeminski, he founded one of the most important and well-known bigbit bands - Trubadurzy. It was with this band that the great career of Mr. Krzysztof Krawczyk began. Unforgettable times of 60s music and great hits that we know and hum to this day, such as: We only know each other by sight, Come Mamo to the Oath, or "Landscapes" and "What do we know about love".
Ten years later, in 1973, Krzysztof Krawczyk began his solo career. Since then, almost continuously, he has performed not only in Poland but also in many European countries and also in the USA. In total, he has 41 studio albums and many unforgettable hits to his credit, such as Jak Minął Dzień, Parostatek, "I remember you from those years," "That's what the world gave us," "Bo jesteś Ty," "I wanted to be" or "Trudno tak" which he recorded together with Edyta Bartosiewicz.
